We are honored and excited to invite you to our 2nd annual Echoes of Our Ancestors prayer breakfast! Our inaugural year was nothing short of exceptional. Our impact, philanthropy and footprint have exceeded all expectation. But without you, that would not have been possible, and for that , we are forever grateful. Moving forward, we will continue to sharpen our mark . We will continue to educate and restorate, in our communities and our state.
This year we welcome Dr. Brandon Michael McCormack as our featured guest speaker: University of Louisville, Associate Professor, Director of Undergraduate Studies Secondary Appointment: Division of Humanities (Religious Studies) Education: Vanderbilt University, Graduate Department of Religion Research Interests: Intersections of Black Religion and Cultural Studies; contested relationships between the prophetic tradition in black religion, black moral panic, and the cultural productions of the hip-hop generation; African American Religion and Religions of the African Diaspora.
